For the second class, I was told to teach some vocabulary about good and bad travel experiences. I started the class with a little review of the topic studied the class before.
Then, I presented the new
vocabulary with some examples. Students always paid attention to the
explanation about the new vocabulary. Also, I used a little reading with
examples of adjectives describing good and bad experiences for a better
understanding of the main vocabulary.
In the practice phase, students
used the same reading to find the adjectives that describes good and bad travel
experiences. Some of the students underlined more adjectives that were not
related with the main idea, but most of them did a great job.
Also, they worked on some
fill in the blank activities. They had to circle the adjectives that best
describes the experiences in the reading.
At the end of the class,
students worked on pairs. In addition, they had to create an original
conversation using adjectives to describe good or bad experiences about a
travel experience they have had in the past.
